In Downreach, nothing happens.
But unlike Sinkrealm, there is no longer even gradient.
There is only depth.
Downreach is not a world where things are heavy. It is a world where existence itself is identical to being-down. Not falling. Not sinking. Not moving. But ontological orientation without alternative.
There is no space as extension. But there is absolute direction. Not toward somewhere, not relative to anything, but as the only possible mode of being. Every configuration exists as deeper than it can be.
Time does not exist. Yet finality does. Not an end after a process, but a condition of already-being-at-the-bottom. There is no higher state. There is no lighter state. There is no outside of depth.
Causality does not operate. Nothing presses anything else. But nothing can be other than pressed. Pressure is no longer a relation. It is the world.
There is no life. Not even stress-fields. Only ontological burial so complete that even the concept of surface evaporates.
There is no intelligence. But there is terminal weight without awareness. Not heaviness, but the impossibility of any ontological lift.
Death in Downreach is not ending. It is totalization. To “die” is to become indistinguishable from depth itself.
The absolute limit of Downreach is absolute bottom: a reality where existence has no direction left to take.
Downreach is the world where nothing happens, because there is nowhere deeper to go.
