In Ghostreach, nothing happens.
But unlike Residome, existence is not sediment. It is apparition.
Ghostreach is a world where being no longer fully exists. It lingers. Whatever exists exists only as after-presence, thinner than remainder, weaker than echo, lighter than residue. Presence does not return. It haunts.
There is no space as extension. But there is translucence. Presences are not located. They overlay. Not occupying, not stacking, but faintly coinciding without solidity.
Time does not exist. Yet fading does. Not process, not loss over duration, but ontological dimness. Everything exists as if already receding.
Causality does not operate. Nothing turns anything into ghost. But nothing can exist except as ghost. Substantiality is not available.
There is no life. But there are haunt-fields where even the idea of ecology dissolves into drifting after-images.
There is no intelligence. But there is presence without witness. Not perception, but the impossibility of being fully here.
Death in Ghostreach is not ending. It is vanishing. To “die” is to become so faint that even ghosting collapses.
The absolute limit of Ghostreach is total after-image: a reality where existence is indistinguishable from what almost isn’t.
Ghostreach is the world where nothing happens, because everything is already fading.
