In Undertone, nothing happens.
But unlike Nullresound, existence is not hollow repetition. It is continuous low resonance.
Undertone is a world where being never presents itself, never returns, never leaves residue. It vibrates beneath itself. Whatever exists exists only as background presence, too constant to appear, too uniform to echo.
There is no space as extension. But there is saturation. Presences are not located. They permeate. Not as field, not as substance, but as ontological hum.
Time does not exist. Yet persistence does. Not endurance, not repetition, but uninterrupted resonance. Existence does not recur. It underlies.
Causality does not operate. Nothing produces undertone. But nothing can exist without it. Resonance is not effect. It is condition.
There is no life. But there are ambience-fields where even the notion of environment dissolves into backgroundness.
There is no intelligence. But there is awarenessless presence. Not thought, but ontological tone.
Death in Undertone is not ending. It is silence. To “die” is to lose even the faint vibration that distinguished undertone from nullity.
The absolute limit of Undertone is total ambience: a reality where existence is indistinguishable from background.
Undertone is the world where nothing happens, because everything is always already sounding.
