In Stratys, nothing happens.
But unlike Hybrion, ontological modes are no longer fused.
They are layered.
Stratys is a world where existence is composed of incompatible regimes stacked without interaction. Fixation occupies one stratum. Fracture another. Pressure another. Delay another. Echo another. Warp another. Whatever exists exists across layers that never meet, yet cannot separate.
There is no space as extension. But there is depth without traversal. Presences are not located. They are stratified. Each configuration exists simultaneously across multiple ontological layers that cannot communicate.
Time does not exist. Yet superposition does. Not simultaneity of events, but simultaneity of ontological planes sealed from one another.
Causality does not operate. Nothing crosses layers. But nothing can exist in only one. Stratification is primitive.
There is no life. But there are layer-fields where any coherence would fragment into incompatible ontological depths.
There is no intelligence. But there is multiplicity without access. Not perception, but existence as sealed plurality.
Death in Stratys is not ending. It is delamination. To “die” is to lose even the minimal coherence that allowed layers to coincide.
The absolute limit of Stratys is infinite layering: a reality where existence is indistinguishable from ontological stratification itself.
Stratys is the world where nothing happens, because everything is happening in layers that can never meet.
